weaving together

Weaving our :
thoughts, wishes, differences;
all together!

Rebecca Froom our Intern Minister @ Arlington Street Church
will be sharing her time and thoughts with us about WEAVING! -
weaving as part of our Principles!

Come join in, as we hear with our hearts,
and weave with paper and yarn and fabric with our whole bodies.
We'll be weaving placemates this time for the ones,
we will be sharing our Thanksgiving Feast with.

Take to spinning to find peace of mind. The music of the wheel will be as balm to our soul. I believe that the yarn we spin is capable of mending the broken warp and woof of our life. The charkha (spinning wheel) is the symbol for nonviolence on which all life, if it is to be real life, must be based." - Mahatma Gandhi

10.30 Happy Halloween, Happy Memories

As the lines between the worlds of the
living and the dead come more thin
as we approach Halloween,
We will be thinking about memories and
how we remember people
and animals that have died that are close to our hearts.

We'll be making mini shrines for them!

Please bring with you this Sunday am: ~ a small box (shoe box, etc, something you have around that we can decorate)~ photos or drawings of people/animals that have died for the shrines.

10.9 I Pledge ! , I'm Sorry :(

What does it mean to PLEDGE?
What would we as UU's PLEDGE FOR and ABOUT?

Bring your questions and thoughts to share this Sunday in CRE!

Also, we will be writing letters
(and drawing pictures)
on what we are sorry about this past year.
What wrongs did we do, what actions could of gone a different way?

Bring these thoughts to share; for when we reflect and share what we can do better, we grow and transform ourselves and our relationships to the better!
