Nourishing our Bodies and our Communities

• What food makes you feel good inside?
• Who do you enjoy sharing a meal with?
• When you look around, what plants and animals surround you?
• How do they make you feel? What do they eat for Dinner?

What would our wooden garden animals eat if they could?

Even on Vacation we need to Care!

Even on Vacation we need to Care

Here and there, and Everywhere!

Questions to Ponder and think about as a family:

What are we as a family doing to care for our natural world?

What are we doing right in our home?

What are we doing in our schools and workplaces?

What we doing not so close to home?

What Joys and Sorrows fill your heart this week?

We light our chalice to honor the web of all life.We honor the sun and earth that bring life to us.We honor the plants and creatures of land, water, and air that nourish us. And we honor each other, gathered here to share the wonder of our world. — adapted from words by Alice Anacheka-Nasemann

Nurture Nature

Nurture Nature

We've got this gift of love, but love is like a precious plant. You can't just accept it and leave it in the cupboard or just think it's going to get on by itself. You've got to keep watering it. You've got to really look after it and nurture it

-John Lennon

By caring for our animals in our communities

and by caring for our trees and water,

we are caring for ourselves.

Why do we need to care?

What's LOVE got to do with it?

What's LOVE got to do with Nature?
