We will be planting bulbs in honor of those 
who have passed on, that are no longer with us.

For each bulb, and then blooming flower 
will remind us of them!

What do you get when you put together a season of butterflies migrating and little beasts?

Answer:

Day of the Dead!

How do you honor those who are no longer with us, who have died?

Come Sunday to hear a story called: Butterflies, Bonfires and Beautiful Beasts -a little history about this season of death and how we celebrate it.

what does it looks like outside your window?

As the colorful leaves fall to the ground, 

they have died in one sense but,

they also are giving life in another sense.

The leaves will give warmth to the new flower bulbs that 

are sleeping all winter long. The leaves bring us great joy to 

jump and lay and travel through them. 

Question:

The leaves .............. What do they share with you?

As the Bulbs rest and the little birds gather leaves and nuts and treats for their winter home, ....

Goodnight little bulbs in the earth;

don't worry if you get a little cold before your birth.

In the fall and winter you will rest well;

and arrive in the spring and summer like the ringing bells!

Colorful little ones that sleeps in the dark,

your amazing beauty makes a mark.

Smells and sights that bring joy to the streets

in our souls and down to our feets!

So rest well and we will pray for you;

we know it takes a bunch of time,

for you to do what you need to do.

We will have hope as the snow and cold wind blows,

for your glory will truly grow!
